Stark

The slight nod to the minimalism of the 90's in this outfit was inspired by these sandals. Perfectly strappy and sexy, they're quite unpretentious for how "of the moment" the style is. I definitely had a big crush on the Alexander Wang Fabianas but these are equally as great (I can live without the awkward cape) and a fraction of the price!

UniQueen

Let me just start by saying I love this skirt. Like, I REALLY love this skirt (I also got it in black)! It fits like a dream and the thick fabric feels nice and luxe. I love the simplicity of it but the peplum gives it enough structure and interest to keep it from looking too professional. I toyed around with what to pair it with and decided that it was the perfect anchor to balance out some crazy prints. Yes, I'm kind of dressed for the wrong season but come spring I'll be rocking this like no tomorrow. Another great thing about the skirt is that it's totally affordable as is everything else on UniQueen, a Korean clothing site based out of Canada, so check it out. Stay tuned for my post on the black version!

UniQueen is offering free shipping on their entire site for Valentine's Day! This promo starts at midnight of the 13th. Happy shopping.
Felt like a fobby peace sign was appropriate for the post  ^___^

Glimpses Part 2

I'm constantly getting asked what the interior of my apartment looks like. A few years ago I made my first "glimpses" post and I thought I'd make a second one. The decor in my place varies from feminine to quirky to weird, must be the Gemini in me ;) Hope you enjoy.

1. Jayne's famous Celine decks 2. A Fifi Lapin print, a leather mask, my favorite lamp 3. Ezzie 4. Skulls 5. Fraction of my book collection 6. Toy dinosaurs perched on some art books 7. Bedroom mirror and a few girly items including a Chanel camelia flower 8. A pink Domo my friend won for me this past summer, sleeps with me every night.

Blacked Out

What?! Are those leggings...worn as...PANTS? Yes, I went there. In fact I like going there quite often. I think as long as your front and behind bits are covered up with a top it's all good and decent. I bought this ribbed shiny pair that Jane Fonda would approve of a few years ago and only until recently did I start really wearing them. They're great for night and is a way to add different texture to an all black outfit.

Leather jacket from Korea, American Apparel tank and leggings, Opening Ceremony booties, Chanel bag, Rayban Wayfarers, Pamela Love necklace
