Denim On Denim

Denim jackets were my thing in middle school. I mean I loved them and was hardly ever seen without wearing one. Then suddenly they became incredibly uncool and dated so I put them out of my mind even though there was a resurrection of denim jackets in recent years, I didn't care. Then oddly, last week I woke up yearning to wear one again. I was shopping for my Miami trip when I came across this denim and leather number and I think I let out a gasp. A nice little upgrade from the traditional blue! Of course I bought it right when hot weather's about to roll in but whatever. Wearing it with the most comfortable black Ryan pocket t-shirt sent by Everlane (thanks!). Super soft and with sleeves the perfect length, it's replaced my Kane shirt as my favorite.

For those who have been looking for a new summer frame, check these Ray-Bans out which are a rounded version of the popular Wayfarer. I actually needed a replacement since my dog chewed them up and I love these a lot more.
