School is out for summer!!! The weather's been kind of chilly which I love..New York in the summertime is disgusting. My birthday is this Friday and I've been making a Balmain inspired skirt to wear at my party. I bought Swarovski crystals and individually glue them down, totally time consuming but I can't wait to see how this turns out when I'm finished but this is not even halfway done..


I found these amethyst earrings at a vintage store near my apartment on Sunday, the color isn't as rich here but deep purple gets me so happy. The earrings on the right are my favorite vintage pair that broke while I was out the other night..I guess I was dancing too hard. I spent about 20 minutes looking for one of the crystals with my Blackberry.

The shoe that got away..

I always kick myself for not buying the red liberty print Nikes from Opening Ceremony 2 years ago. I see variations of the purple ones a lot, but they're not just as as special :(

Then I found this bikini from J.Crew and got so excited but of course of course, the cut is completely unflattering on me. Boo.


Last night was dinner at Eleven Madison Park, one of the best restaurants in New York in my opinion not only for food but for quality and service. After dinner they served mini macarons and I asked to take some home because they are probably my favorite things in the world. My lovely server packed me two containers of them! The best one is the peanut butter & jelly which tastes exactly like the sandwich, mmmmm.
